R.I.D.E 2007 in Normandy - Jumping

Presentation of the CSI ***** show jumping competitions

This new concept in show jumping competitions was tested with success during the 2004 R.I.D.E. in Jardy close to Paris.
It includes a traditional programme of six competitions over three days, with a final classification established according to the results of the six competitions. Hence, points are allocated to riders classified at the end of each competition with coefficients defined according to the difficulty of each competition. These points increase over the course of the weekend and are the basis for a provisional classification, which is permanently displayed on a big board.
Suspense increases daily, reaching its peak during the Grand Prix and the "Top R.I.D.E" (super jump-off) on the Sunday afternoon: the ten best riders on the whole tests set out again.

Prize-money (very attractive: 370 000 € in total) is distributed at the end of each competition The bonus is distributed to the ten riders having taken part in the Top Ride
